Custom BBQ Island Design

Create a custom BBQ island that suits your style and needs with our expert design service. We will come out to your home free of charge or obligation and help you start the process of designing a one of a kind BBQ Island. This starts with measurements of your backyard to determine the size and shape of the BBQ island, then comes the BBQ grill head, appliances, materials for the body of the island and countertop. There are multiple options available in every catagory and it can feel overwhelming at times when deciding on a brand or style. for instance, there are literally over 100 types of grill heads available in every size, quality and pricepoint you can imagine, grill heads generally start at $900.00 and go up to $10,000.00+, yes thats right, you can spend 10k on a grill head alone. Then there are pizza ovens, smokers, side grills, refrigerators, sinks, trash recepticals, storage drawers, ice containers, drop in fire tables and the list goes on and on. The typical island will have the grill head, a refrigerator, access doors and a set of storage drawers, but even choosing those items can be confusing with quality and prices all over the spectrum. Do not worry! We are here to help you with all of that as we are familiar with most of the products available and can provide you with valuable input on what we feel will work the best for your specific budget and need.

The Build and Delivery

Once the design portion of the island is complete we will provide a photo like rendering of your island, this allows you to actually see what your island will look like when finished. We have found this visual aid to be a invaluable tool for our customers. On occasion the vision in your head doesnt quite look like you thought it would when you see it in a picture and at this stage of creating your BBQ island making a change either big or small is very simple with no cost involved. Making a change after production has started is a different story. It can be very costly, time consuming and challenging. So yes, the CAD rendering is a valuable tool. Once the BBQ island is finished we will deliver it or it can be picked up and Installation is typically as simple as plugging the island in, leveling the island and hooking up the propane tank or natural gas line. There are occasions when accessing the backyard with the island is not possible so a crane is used to hoist the island up and over and into its new resting place. While this may sound daunting its really as simple as a phone call to the crane company and scheduling a day and time that works for everybody, it takes about 30 minutes from start to finish to place your BBQ island in its location. The cost for this varies based on the size of the crane needed which is determined by the weight of the island and the distance the crane has to extend its boom to place the island. The cost is generally between $300.00 to $500.00 

 

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to build a custom BBQ island?

The time frame for building a custom BBQ island can vary depending on the design and materials chosen. Generally it takes about a week for a complete build however during the busy season(April-September) there could be islands ahead of yours at the time you make a purchase. So it may only take a week to build your island but it could be 2, 3 weeks before we can even start building your island. We will be able to provide you with a timeline during the consultation process.

Do you provide warranties for your products and installations?
Yes, we offer warranties for our products and installations to ensure customer satisfaction and peace of mind. Our team is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship that lasts.

Can we purchase our own grill head or other appliances.

Absolutely, you can purchase whatever, from whoever and we will install it into your island. We do need to know the exact cutout dimensions for what you have in order to start framing your island so its imperative that you have those dimensions available otherwise it can cause a delay, unfortunately we cant sit around and wait for the dimensions, we have to start on the next island on schedule. Once that island is complete and provided we have the cutout dimensions we can then start on your island.
